Project description

The project upgraded the single lane bridge over the Jordan River on Cove Hill Road with a refurbished two lane bridge and resurfaced 2 kilometres of approaches to the bridge.

Benefits

The project improved safety, increased load capacity, improved freight efficiency and reduced maintenance costs.

Funding

The total project cost was $1.59 million and was jointly funded by the Australian Government and Brighton Council.

Timetable

Construction commenced in August 2017 and was completed in January 2018.
