Project description

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) swimming and diving events will be held at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, located on the Gold Coast Highway, Southport, and further live sites will be located in both Southport and Surfers Paradise. The City has identified the key active transport corridors that connect the above GC2018 venues and key surrounding precincts: Woodroffe Avenue in Main Beach

Construction of new 3m wide shared path connecting Waterways Drive to Rankin Parade. Removal of existing path on southern side of Woodroffe and replacement with new 2.5m shared path from Rankin Place to Main Beach Parade. As per Cycleway Report Section 7 submitted.

Total cost of proposed project is $661,000
