Project description

Riverview Road runs between 2 shopping centres and experiences high traffic loads including domestic freight movements. The pavement and seal is showing signs of failure and based on its current condition a reconstruction intervention is required.

Due to the location and volume of traffic it is proposed to replace the existing granular pavement and seal with a deeplift asphalt seal of 100mm. 1300m2 of 100mm of seal and granular pavement will be planed out (profiled) and replaced with a 100mm AC14 pavement. This process will enable the works to be completed in one night shift resulting in minimal disruption to the 2 adjoining shopping centers
