Project description

Lake View Road is the major road in the 'Old' section of Preston Beach and is narrow, winding and contains a blind crest. The seal has reached the end of its serviceable life and is failing, and the narrow width of the seal means the edges are fretting away as traffic drops off the egde. There is also no drainage associated with the road currently which results in scouring of the shoulders during rain events.

Reconstruct to widen the seal to a consistent 6.2 metres in width, and deal with the blind crest to make it less severe. Kerbing and subsurface drainage elements to address the current drainage issues.
