Project description

Pavement of the road is in poor condition with potholes and surface irregularities and is unsuitable for current traffic volumes. This area is a low lying area that is subjected to flooding has significant subgrade issues. Scotts Head Road is the main entry point into Scotts Head and carries local and tourist traffic.

Renewal of the road by reconstruction with properly designed drainage, remove areas of soft sub-grade pavement and replace with suitable material, place geotextile fabric between sub-grade and new pavement layer and new 2 Coat Seal wearing surface.

Total cost of proposed project is $492,443
