Project description

This part of Davistown Road is narrow and poorly aligned for a main access route with high traffic volumes. There is little formal drainage and no footpath, creating safety a hazard for pedestrians.

The road is to be widened to average 9.0 metres over a distance of 270 metres. This will involve filling and provision of retaining walls. Work will also include footpath, kerb and gutter, drainage, utilities and property access adjustments, traffic islands, new signage. The road level will be raised in part to improve driveway access.

Total cost of proposed project is $932,095
