Project description

A 400 metre section (approximately 2920 m2) of Kunama Drive between No. 15 (near Binya Court) and No. 49 has many road failures and requires frequent maintenance in the form of heavy patching and pothole repairs. The removal and replacement of the road pavement and wearing course together with installation of subsoil drainage along the kerb line of the south western side (high side) of Kunama Drive and at the pavement interface will resolve the issues requiring frequent maintenance.

In accordance with Council’s strategic plan to maintain and upgrade existing assets it is proposed to remove and replace the road pavement and wearing course together with installation of subsoil drainage along the kerb line of the south western side (high side) of Kunama Drive and at the pavement interface. Existing damaged sections of kerb and channel or footpath will be reconstructed at the time of the works.

Total cost of proposed project is $738,053
