Project description

The project completed a scoping study for the upgrade of the intersection at Canterbury Road and Bedford Road in Heathmont, east of Melbourne, including investigation site conditions; analysing data relevant to the intersection, including crash data; and developing treatment options.

Benefits

The project completed a business study aimed at improving safety and access for all road users of the Canterbury Road and Bedford Road intersection.

Funding

The estimated cost of the project was $50,000. The Australian Government contribution was capped at $50,000.

Timetable

The planning study commenced on 15 December 2016 and was completed on 31 July 2017.
