Project description

The project has delivered a diamond interchange connecting O'Herns Road to the Hume Freeway. The project has also duplicated 1.4km of O'Herns Road between O'Herns Road and Cooper Street and signalised the roundabout at the intersection of Epping Road, Findon Road, High Street and O'Herns Road.

The project has improved network efficiency and will reduce travel times and improve safety.

Funding

The Australian Government has invested $50.0 million towards this $155 million project.

Timetable

Construction commenced in December 2017 with practical completion reached on 31 August 2021.
