Project description
The project will upgrade targeted sections of the Monaro Highway from the Princes Highway at Cann River to the NSW border. Works will include constructing a roundabout and vehicle pullover bays, upgrading bridges, rehabilitating pavement, and installing safety barriers and a Variable Messaging Sign.

The project is expected to improve safety and efficiency for all road users.
Funding
The estimated cost of the project is $10 million. The Australian and Victorian Governments are each contributing $5 million.
Timetable
Construction commenced on 10 April 2018 and is expected to be completed in mid 2020.
