Project description

Existing road pavement is currently showing significant signs of major rutting age and fatigue. In addition, existing deficiencies include narrow unsealed shoulders, pavement failures in outer wheel path, minimal sight distance at the intersection of Pates Road

The project scope includes the rehabilitation of the subject section of road over a length of 1000m with average width of 8.0m. The project scope also includes the upgrade of the Pates Road with protected right and left turn lanes and improvements to visibility. The project objective is to renew the pavement in order to achieve the required level of service and improve the level of road safety for all road users

Total cost of proposed project is $1,100,000
