Project description

Thin gravel pavement, poor school bus access and safety during wet weather.

Rehabilitate and upgrade the existing road pavement. Provide gravel overlay of 75mm/100mm thickness with approved selected natural material for the length of road and shape with minimum crossfall of 6%. Undertake roadside drainage improvements (provision of table drains, tail out drains etc.) as required. Length of road to be upgraded 7.5km and 6 metres wide, total seal area 45,000m2.
