Project description

The existing bridge was beyond its useful life and was grossly undersized and unable to cope with present and future pedestrian demand.

Construction of new pedestrian footbridge between Hornsby Railway Station and Florence Street Mall. Located approximately 80m north of the intersection of George Street and Peats Ferry Road (previously The Pacific Highway).

Total cost of proposed project is $9,700,000
