Project description

The surface of Wool Road in the proposed work location is bitumen sealed and deformed, which presents a traffic hazard for vehicles on the road. Furthermore, the surface is narrow in width, which is a traffic safety hazard for passing vehicles

The proposed work involves adding up to 100mm compacted road base on the edges up to 1.0m wide, applying a chemical additive to the pavement and mixing, bitumen sealing the surface to achieve an overall width of 6.0m. Total length of the proposed work is 2.0km.
