Project description
Construct a high level bridge and approaches on a new alignment at Saltwater Creek crossing and a new bridge and approaches to Deadmans Gully on a new alignment. Upgrade four existing floodway sections north of Saltwater Creek between Maryborough and Torbanlea to improve flood immunity.

The Australian Government has committed up to $82.4 million towards the project in partnership with the Queensland Government.
Timetable
Planning commenced in late 2018. Construction commenced in July 2021 and was completed in late 2022.
