Project description

Booborowie Road and Fourth St Booborowie carries approximately 300 vehicle movements per day with 20% being medium to heavy vehicles. The traffic use increases during harvest with cartage of commodities such as grain, hay and livestock. The intersection of Booborowie Rd/Fourth St and South Tce is currently a Y configuration. This intersection does not make the priority road clear, restricts driver visibility and allow high speed turning manoeuvres.,

Realignment of the current Y junction of Boorowie Rd/Fourth St/South Tce to a T junction of Fourth St/South Tce giving priority to the Booborowie Rd/Fourth St continuation. South Tce will terminate at Fourth St with a T junction configuration. Minor earthworks are required and the road formation will be to a width of 11metres and an 8 metre seal.
