Project description

The existing sealed road is in extremely poor condition with numerous surface defects, pavement failures and extensive cracking. The cracking is allowing moisture to penetrate the pavement causing accelerated deterioration and poor ride quality to road users. Repair of the frequent and repetitive pavement and surface failures causes high maintenance expenditure.

Rehabilitation through the excavation and removal of existing pavement, placement of new pavement and application of a new asphalt cement surface. Construct new kerb and gutter and additional stormwater.

Total cost of proposed project is $744,000
