Project description

Spauls Lane has a 6m wide gravelled surface. This section of Spauls Lane has got extensive failures such as bony surface, rutting and potholes. It is not safe for vehicles to travel along this section.

It is planned to crush the bony material using a kirpy (rock buster) and wet grade the section and restore table drains and mitre drains. The project involves traffic control, scarifying the surface, reshaping the road, compacting and restoring the table drains and mitre drains.
