Project description

Nicholls road has been subjected to an increase of vehicle movements associated with the increase in horticultural activities. Large trucks are using this road more frequently . This has caused the bitumen surface to break down more rapidly . The road now has severe edge breaks-surface cracking and general lose of aggregate. This creates a major problem for maintenance works and can damage fresh produce being transported along the road

Council propose to repair roadside shoulder ,trim roadside vegetation and carry out a complete 2 coat bitumen reseal over the entire area.
