The Youngs Crossing Road transport corridor is a critical link in the South East Queensland road network that currently experiences significant flood and congestion safety challenges. This project is expected to upgrade Youngs Crossing Road at the North Pine River, including upgrades to the existing road and construction of a new bridge over the river.

The Australian Government has committed $51.6 million in funding to the project.
This project commenced construction in mid 2025 and is expected to finish construction by mid 2027.
