Project description
This project upgraded Norris Road in Bracken Ridge. The road is a key link for connecting Bracken Ridge residents to the Gympie Arterial Road corridor, the local primary school, TAFE and local shops. The project upgraded priority sections of the road and included pavement widening and safety improvements. This project complements other projects in the Bracken Ridge area.
Benefits
The project improved accessibility, connectivity and productivity, improved safety and travel times, and improved network reliability.
Funding
The Australian Government committed $5 million to this project.
Timetable
The project commenced construction in early 2021 and was completed on 7 October 2022.
