Project description

This project will provide four lanes along the existing two-lane section of Hoyland Street and provide two phase traffic signal protection for active transport users at the Kluver Street/Hoyland Street intersection and the Hoyland Street (east)/Hoyland Street (south) intersection.

Benefits

The upgrade will improve accessibility, connectivity and productivity, improve safety and travel times and improve network reliability.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $1 million towards this project.

Timetable

The project commenced construction in January 2021 and completed construction in August 2021.
