Project description
The project is expected to construct a multi-deck car park to increase the capacity of commuter car parking facilities at Ringwood Railway Station. Currently, parking demand exceeds parking availability at peak times. The railway station is considered a premium interchange, with high patronage accessing the express rail services during peak periods.Benefits
This project is expected to improve efficiency and network reliability, reduce traffic congestion, improve travel times and support a more integrated and effective transport system by upgrading park and ride facilities at this location.Funding
The Australian Government is contributing $30.39 million to the project.
