Project description

This project will seal a section of the Willies Creek Royles Road.

Benefits

The Project is expected to provide the following benefits:

- increased connectivity between communities;

- improved safety;

- increased flood immunity;

- improved freight efficiency;

- improved access for heavy vehicles; and

- improved network resilience.

Sealing of the road will also deliver a broad range social and economic benefits to the local community and wider Central Highlands region.

Funding

The Australian Government has commited $3 million to this project.

Timetable

Construction commenced on this project in November 2021 and was completed in April 2022.
