New Line Road extends approximately 6.2km from Castle Hill Road in West Pennant Hills to Old Northern Road in Dural. It is a combination of divided dual carriageway and single carriageway. Investigations will focus on the potential to upgrade the road to a four lane divided carriageway.
The upgrade of New Line Road would improve safety, traffic flow, travel times and provide capacity for the growing population of Sydney's north west and support the Cherrybrook Priority Precinct.
The Australian Government contribution is capped at $10 million.
Planning commenced in mid 2020 and is expected to be completed in mid 2025.
