Project description
New Line Road extends approximately 6.2km from Castle Hill Road in West Pennant Hills to Old Northern Road in Dural. It is a combination of divided dual carriageway and single carriageway. Investigations would deliver a Full Business Case to inform an upgrade to four lane divided carriageway based.
Benefits
The upgrade of New Line Road would improve safety, traffic flow, travel times and provide capacity for the growing population of Sydney's north west and support the Cherrybrook Priority Precinct.
Funding
The Australian Government contribution is capped at $10 million.
Timetable
Planning commenced in mid 2020 and is expected to be completed in mid 2025.
