Project description

Thurles Street is a local road built on highly reactive soils. It has failing seal and pavement components, as well as significant lengths of failed kerb.

It is proposed to replace the existing kerb for the full length of the road. The kerb replacement will be followed by the removal and replacement of the road seal and pavement. Pavement reconstruction will include consideration of stabilisation technologies suitable for use on reactive subgrades.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,068,277
