Project description

The existing road within the settlement of Quinninup is in poor condition; it is rough with potholes forming regularly and stormwater drainage runs across the road in a number of locations.

Reconstruct the road so that it meets design guidelines and the Shire's Road Hierarchy policy. Import gravel and construct the road so that it meets design criteria detailed in Austroads Guide to Road Design part 3 and the Shire's Road Hierarchy policy. Place underground drainage and form kerbing so that storm water runoff is controlled and directed away from the road surface. Form new pram ramps and reconstruct sections of the adjacent footpath so that pedestrians can cross the road safely.

Total cost of proposed project is $450,000
