Project description

This section of road (4 km length) has been identified by Toowoomba regional council asset management system as requiring pavement rehabilitation works. The road is in poor condition is a PSB3 Road train route and used as a by-pass for all vehicle when the Warrego Highway is closed. In association with the pavement rehabilitation work the road will be upgraded from a narrow 3.5 m single lane to a 2 lane standard.

Reconstruct the pavement and widen the road to a two lane bitumen seal standard (7m seal on 8 m formation).

Total cost of proposed project is $3,216,087
