Project description

Burke Street pavement and bitumen surface 240 metres long and 11 metres wide have reached end of life and required renewal. The associated kerb and channel, 280 metres long, and footpath 480 metres long, are also at the end of life and are adjacent to a primary school requiring a higher standard for heavy footpath and traffic use during school times.

The existing pavement of Burke Street will be reconstructed with a 350 mm deep pavement and asphalt surface, 240 metres long and 11 metres wide, new kerb and channel 480 metres long and footpaths 480 metres long, on both sides, with a school crossing to current disability access standards and line marking for bus and vehicle parking.

Total cost of proposed project is $462,000
