Project description

Majorca Road is a Rural Link Road 900 metres long and 6.6 metres wide seal, where the road pavement has become rough due to nearing the end of life. The shoulders of the road suffer significant erosion through a cutting which continually requires maintenance.

The pavement of the road is to be reconstructed, stabilised 200 mm deep with a 150 mm overlay and sealed to 6.6 metres width. The pavement and seal to be widened to 9 metres for 50 metres with construction of 288 metres of kerb and channel through the cutting along with widening of road verges and table drains to control stormwater flows and 185 metres of safety barrier.

Total cost of proposed project is $525,000
