Project description

Turning vehicles including heavy vehicles create great lot of stresses on this intersection and have caused the pavement and surface failures such as shoving, stripping and bleeding. This intersection is also posing a risk of collision for the vehicles coming from four different directions.

The project includes traffic control, lime stabilisation of subbase to a depth of 200mm, applying 7mm primerseal, installation of new drains, constructing new medians/traffic islands and laying deep lift asphalt (100mm thick base with 20mm and 40mm surfacing with 14mm).

Total cost of proposed project is $289,000
