Project description

Major pavement depressions, longitudinal cracking, seal shoving and heaving in roadway caused by indifferent subgrade settlement and exacerbated by high heavy vehicle usage

Full reconstruction of pavement and widening along 3.5 kilometres length of road to include wider running lanes at 3.5 metres in width and constructed sealed shoulders at 1.2 metres in width. Pavement to consist of 500 millimetre crushed rock composition including a two coat 10mm primer seal water proofing membrane

Total cost of proposed project is $4,950,000
