Project description

The roadway is a collector road that carries significant traffic volumes. Cardigan Road, provides access for Pembroke College (large high school ). The road pavement is in excess of fifty (50) years old and is in need of full pavement rehabilitation.

Approximately 1200m road is to be foam-bitumen stabilised and widened by approximately 1 metre. Works will also include upgrading of roadside drainage. Rehabilitating the road will improve the safety for road users and reduce maintenance costs.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,535,346
