Project description

The pavement is failing and requires widening to facilitate heavy vehicles into adjacent industrial properties. The road is currently gazetted for 53.5m Road Train, however, there is a large segment towards Press Road where access is restricted due to a significant depression, the remainder of the road is also affected by pavement stress and shoulder deterioration.

Council is proposing to undertake pavement strengthening, resurfacing and widening from the existing surface from 6 meters to 9 meters to better accommodate heavy vehicle.

Total cost of proposed project is $275,031
