Project description

Surface of road has worn with clay appearing making road a hazard when wet as it becomes slippery and boggy which is an issue due to being a high use road which is also a school bus route and commodity route

To resurface the road with a quarry rubble mix. It will be applied 7 metres wide and 0.15 metres thick when compacted. This involves purchasing material from a quarry, carting to site with trucks, spreading and levelling with graders and compacting with rollers. Will include replacement of drainage pipes where required.
