Project description

Due to water retention after storm events, with the road subjected to flooding and high velocity run-off. Road is heavily damaged consisting of edge breaks, depressions and experiences poor storm water drainage, heavy erosion and scouring.

To address and rehabilitate the level of design and reconstruction to rectify risks, road access, crossings, edge breaks, drops and two shoulders. Undertake upgrade works on existing drainage calculation through the use of the rational method and calculate potential culvert sizes and open unlined drains to improve the drainage regime. Future works required, rehabilitation or re-design of civil infrastructure along Morris Road.
