Project description

The existing bitumen road (13 metres wide) has a very low strength pavement, showing distress and crackings including alligator cracking, longitudinal and transverse cracking and rutting. Traffic survey conducted in August 2018 and has AADT of 624 and 13 percent heavy vehicle. It is a busy street used by visitors travelling to the historic Thunderbolt's grave, school buses and parents ferrying school students to the Central School and use as a detour when the New England Highway is closed for event management.
