Project description

The Project will relocate Loganlea Station to allow for upgraded line capacity and position the station closer to the local health and education precinct.

Benefits

The relocation of Loganlea Station is expected to: Improve integration with surrounding destinations (including Logan Hospital, TAFE Queensland and Loganlea State High School) Improve pedestrian connectivity Support future capacity improvement works on the line from Gold Coast to Brisbane

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $89.38 million to this project, with the Queensland Government committing $84.38 million for a total commitment of $173.76 million.

Timetable

Construciton is expected to commence Mid 2025, with completion expected mid 2027.
