Project description

This project will:

  • Construct two south facing ramps (on and off), approximate 1.6 kilometres in length, at the existing overpass of Davey Road with the Hume Highway

  • Construct of two roundabouts (one on the eastern ramp intersection, and one on the western ramp intersection).

  • Construct stage two of the related Thurgoona Link Road

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $7.9 million to this project 

Timetable

Construction commenced at the existing Dave Road overpass in December 2020 and was completed in November 2021. 

As the project was completed under budget, the Australian Government agreed the remaining funds could be directed towards the Thurgoona Link Road - Stage Two.

Stage two is expected to commence construction in August 2026 and is expected to be completed December 2027.
