Project description

Timber bridge condition is rapidly deteriorating and load limited at 10 tonnes, limiting access for essential works and services on South Beach Road and at Torakina Beach and reserve. The works will re-enable T44 access.

Replace 21 girders Replace or repair 8 headstocks Replace or repair 17 corbels Repair 11 piles Replace 70% of decking A single lane will remain open to traffic during construction

Total cost of proposed project is $1,656,800
