Project description

The project provided funding towards construction of a train station at Lakelands in the 23-kilometre gap between Warnbro and Mandurah Stations, on the Mandurah Line. The project allows transport users within the corridor to better access rail services and improve transport connectivity within the Perth Metropolitan area.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $54 million towards the project.

Timetable

Construction is complete and the station opened to the public on Sunday 11th June 2023.
