Project description

Section of the road is in a poor condition with several crocodile cracking, rutting, edge breaks and high roughness causing safety concerns to the road users. Council have received several request to improve the road and details investigation confirmed that pavement structure is required significant improvement to meet the level of service for the community.

Reconstruct the pavement structure between Pacific High Way and Barrellan Ave. Excavate total of 190mm thick of existing pavement and reconstruct with 140mm of AC20/28 and 50mm of AC14 (Compliance with RMS R116 Specification) as wearing course. Project includes installation of kerb & Gutter for a short section of road and reinstatement of the existing road pavement marking as part of the reconstruction/rehabilitation works.

Total cost of proposed project is $712,811
