Project description

Existing river crossing has been constructed with concrete stabilisation and becomes unstable or completely washed away after rain and torrential rivers. The crossing is then impassable to vehicles, causing food/medical/fuel/mail services to be diverted hundreds of kilometres to access the pastoral stations.

The crossing has been surveyed and proposed works are engineered to construct a 550m concrete crossing that will allow river/flood waters to flow across.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,044,311
