Project description

Formation of road has deteriorated due to traffic. The road level is below natural surface and on an old lake bed making it impassable in wet conditions. Road side drainage is none existent causing deep scouring along side of the road and certain places crossing the road. No subbase, no subgrade. Highly feeble.

Installation of drainage pipes in low-line area and build the road up with natural material for 2km. Then gravel construct 8m wide for the length of 2km. For a further 3km on both sides of the drainage pipes the road will be graded, reshaped and forming table drains for drainage flow. Total length of works will be 8km.
