Project description

Delegate River Bridge is currently a Single Lane, 4 Span timber Bridge of unknown age. Level 2 condition inspections have identified several defective Elements of the Sub-Structure, along with multiple Elements in the Substructure and the Deck requiring maintenance. A level 3 inspection has reduced the safe Load Limit to 17T The bridge in its current condition is not able to provide the level of service required by the community.

All identified maintenance completed and all defective elements are to be replaced and upgraded to provide a Single Lane B-Double HML capacity Bridge.

Total cost of proposed project is $690,000
