Project description

The project upgraded 3 high priority sections of the D'Aguilar Highway between Sandy Creek and Kilcoy. The works widened the road formation and seal width, installed a wide centerline to separate opposing traffic flows and provided roadside hazards treatments to improve the safety of the road section.

The project delivered improved road safety for all road users.

The Australian Government committed $15.2 million towards this project.

Construction commenced in early 2022, with completion achieved late 2022.
