Project description

The project delivered a series of targeted road safety works between Beaudesert and Wolffdene, south of Brisbane. These works included improved line marking/signage, audio tactile line markings, removal of roadside hazards, localised road widening and safety barriers.

  • Improved traffic flow through the road network, reducing congestion

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $15.5 million towards this project, with the Queensland Government committing $4.7 million for a total commitment of $20.2 million.

Timetable

Construction commenced in late 2020 and completed in late 2023.
