Project description

Poor access for emergency services vehicles. Frequent road flooding occurring due to poor drainage & non existent kerb and channel and gravel road shoulders. No formalised car parking. Poor pedestrian safety with no formalised crossing points.

Drainage improvements, including the installation of kerb and channel. Formalised car parking, including, designated parking bays for emergency services. Road base replaced and resealed where required. Construction of a concrete shared path on the south side of Cusack Street. Realign and reconstruct existing roundabout to incorporate four raised pedestrian & bicycle crossings.
