Project description

The majority of the pavement in this section of Cheddar West Road has reached the end of its life, It is very poor condition with extensive failures and loss of shape. Cheddar West Road is a very busy road carrying 22,000 vehicles /day. The intersection of Cheddar West Road and Dole Ave is particularly dangerous at peak hour

remove and reconstruct 2,100m2 of existing pavement, reseal a further 1,176m2 of pavement reconstruct the kerb and channel on the western side of Cheddar West Road between Harmer St and Dole Ave and reconstruct the Dole Ave /Cheddar West Road intersection and install traffic lights

Total cost of proposed project is $1,820,000
