Project description

This project will deliver upgrades to the Midland Highway from Powranna Road to South of Symmons Plains and at a separate section of the Midland Highway at Tunbridge. These upgrades will include lane, shoulder and verge widening, installation of targeted median flexible safety barriers and upgrades to roadside drainage, pavement repairs, earthworks, and the relocation of utility services, as required.

Funding

The Australian Government will contribute up to $7.1 million and the Tasmanian Government up to $3.1 million toward this project.

Timetable
